![]() It’s not the story that’s important but rather the journey. I believe in and love this class and if I can do it with my old broken body so can you, so join me and be the best you, you can be!!! So after taking 3-4 classes a week for almost a year I took the plunge and completed teacher training in May 2018. You work all parts of your body, it’s in the heat (my favourite) and there is a modification for everything… so no excuses. Great! It’s a HOT HIIT style class but without all the jumping and jarring movements I found so painful. ![]() Then I was magically introduced to Inferno Hot Pilates in June 2017. I was immediately drawn to the benefits of Bikram yoga but found myself craving other workouts but found most of them difficult with all my aches, pains and injuries. I was in search of a more physical holistic approach to build strength and avoid further surgeries. My name is Jackie Brown and my healing journey began in 2007 in an effort to heal discomfort caused by early onset of osteoarthritis, aches and pains from a car accident, years of running, endless hours in the event and restaurant industry and back surgery. She obtained her certificate to teach holistic Akhanda Yoga and returned to Shakti to teach until 2016. Stacey resided in an Ashram in Rishikesh, India in 2014. Stacey had the desire to travel to the Himalayas in India to study different asanas, mantras, breathing exercises, meditation techniques and visualization skills. It was inspiring to find peace and contentment on the mat in such a fast paced Society. Her passion for yoga started to grow after realizing the benefits of yoga mentally, physically and spiritually.
